From The EEC of STL:
The Education Equity Center of St. Louis envisions a transformed education system that is free of racism and harmful practices, policies, and systems negatively impacting black and brown students.
Given the histories of systemic racism that are deep and pervasive in education, we will need to understand and address the mental models we are operating from in order to move towards this vision. To this end, we build the anti-racist capacity of educators in the St. Louis region.
Day 3 of 3 / Action and Accountability: Anti-Racist Education Systems Change
Participants will identify strategies to dismantle racism in education while learning about action planning and implementation based on anti-racist values and a redesign of structures accountable to Black, Brown, and Indigenous People of Color groups.
Attending each virtual session is encouraged but not required.
