Learning Together
The Alliance hosts regular programming to help our community “Talk, Heal, Change.” After each program, we circulate a meeting summary for those not able to join. Visit Past Programs (under the About tab) for an archive of our work.
Public Safety & Police Accountability
The Alliance works to dig into local policing issues and make connections to the regional and national context. Current priorities include supporting the work of the Webster Groves Police Community Engagement Board, and assisting with a new study examining how people with a wide range of perspectives and experiences think about community safety and safety priorities in St. Louis County.
Culture of Inclusion & Housing
The Alliance pursues initiatives that cultivate an inclusive community, fight the disappearance of our historically Black community, advocate for affordable housing/living, and explore how to open up our business community. Current projects include working to establish a local Community Land Trust and pursuing a Town-Gown initaitve to better support local university students.
Representation for All Voices
The Alliance works to protect voting rights, engage the community in elections, and ensure that diverse voices inform what our community looks and feels like across all aspects of life. Reach out to learn about current efforts.
